What's up people?
I just realized - and by just I mean one month ago - that I haven't been posting as much as usual here lately. I guess old habits are hard to die.
So here I am, with loads of news from weird Sweden.

I'd love to say many people asked me how life is here, but it's me we're talking about, so nope. They'll eventually ask, probably one month before coming back so not to look like they didn't give a damn fuck, but that means I'd have to wait around 8 more months and well, I can't wait that long without writing.
Or maybe - positive Alex speaking now - it might be possible that people are so used to me moving away that they've lost track of me and/or think I got so accustomed to it that I don't feel like it's a big deal anymore. Which in a certain way is not, I'll give them credit for that. But still.

Just to recap, I've been living here in Stockholm for about two months now, I enjoy the new school - which btw is totally different from my home Uni - , I've found a part-time job as a RG coach - that is if I menage to get a certain number from the Tax Agency -, I've taken up ballet again and I've started writing for both HelpImAStudent.com and StudyInStockholm.se . Yay for me.
Don't worry, I'm still single and incredibly dorky as per everything else.

Life here is not that different from anywhere else, except maybe for the outstanding amount of extremely reserved and yet open minded and friendly in their own way blondies - this goes for both males and females. To be honest, they do sometimes get way too reserved: like, for our first project we had to go around and interview different people from a neighborhood and they all turned white. I mean sick-like white, not just pale, 'cause, you know, they're Swedes. Of course though, whenever they've had any amount of alcohol, they turn into chatty and blabbing monsters who keep comparing you to apparently famous Swedish actresses. I love you, you little cutie pieces of kanelbullar.

As I mentioned before, I'm still me no matter what, even though I try to polish my public image by posting more politically involved posts on FB, surprising everyone with my languages skills and posting fancy pictures of my new room, like this one:

when in truth it looks more like this:

I guess I'll never be a life-style blogger. Shame on me.

Although, I am making an effort to improve my real life as well as my social media one: for example, I did have a sauna today, in a pretty cool and surprisingly cheap place just outside Stockholm with an Aussie friend of mine, and I must say it was an extremely pleasant experience. First of all, the sauna itself is incredibly relaxing, and having the possibility to later jump in a natural lake with a water temperature of 8° C to cool down made it even better, adding that crazy/fun taste which never hurts. What we both agreed was even more striking though was seeing how confident people are here with their own bodies, something you don't see often lately - for those of you who don't know, you're supposed to be completely naked the whole time you're in the sauna except for the small towel you're supposed to sit on.

Of course, loads of other things happened in these last two months, but it would take forever to write about them all now, and it's already 1 a.m. up here. Although I think it's worth mentioning that I went to see the new Harry Potter play in London, which I strongly suggest anyone to see if you get the chance to do so. It's truly magic on stage.

I guess it's all for now then, see you later!
