Well well well... How can someone's life change in one month?
I'll tell you: a lot.
First things first, though.
PoliMi has some notorious downsides - i.e. lack of a social life outside the Poli itself - which it's famous for, and which I usually tend to remind to anyone attempting to get anywhere near it. This time though I really have to praise it. Why? Well, there's this thing called MEDes -aka Master of European Design- which consists in moving to one of the partner Unis for the last year of the Bachelor, coming back in July to get the Bachelor degree, then moving again somewhere else for the first year of the Master degree and then move back to Poli for the second Master year. Crazy shit, right? I got accepted.
So, as though things weren't perfectly perfect enough, we - cause yeah, only 6 of us got accepted, us lucky bastards - got asked to take part into this workshop which was set in Portugal, where they'd tell us our first year destination. Yep, you read that right. Freaking Portugal.
Obv, it was amazing. Don't mean to spoil anything for the future lucky bastards but it's kind of a mixture between Harry Potter and the Olypic Games, minus Slytherin. And (!!) I got accepted at Konstfack in Stockholm, Sweden!!!!
HELL FREAKING YEAH!
Honestly, I'm so excited I can't stop thinking about it. Can't almost wait for this semester to be over.
Ok, that's not true. Actually, - in case it wasn't obvious enough already - I'd been a little depressed in the past few months to the point I was sure not to make it, and proving myself wrong was one of the best sensations ever. I feel more like myself again now.
And what would my true self usually do when super excited about moving? Take the cheapest flight it can find and go visit her best friend in the UK during Easter Holidays, which is exactly what I'm doing right now!
God, I miss her so much.
Enough for now guys, I'll keep you updated!
Have a nice Easter!
